BMC Software Positioned in Leaders Quadrant of the 2009 IT Event Correlation and Analysis Magic Quadrant

BMC Software (NYSE: BMC) today announced that it has been positioned in the Leaders Quadrant of Gartner, Inc.’s recently released “Magic Quadrant for IT Event Correlation and Analysis” research report.1

BMC Event and Impact Management – the primary BMC solution evaluated by Gartner in this report – and BMC ProactiveNet Performance Management play a pivotal role in helping organizations establish the groundwork for Business Service Management (BSM). With BMC Event and Impact Management, customers can determine which IT events impact business services and automate the response to solving the problem.
