Comverse's Newest Center of Excellence: Magnet for Communications Professionals in Bulgaria
October 02 2013 - 7:00AM
Comverse (Nasdaq:CNSI), the global leader in telecom business
enablement, announced the expansion of its latest
Comverse Center of Excellence
(CCoE) in Bulgaria. The facility centralizes focus on all aspects
of excellence regarding deployment of Comverse solutions in the
EMEA region, and creates a dynamic research environment for
development of innovative BSS, Digital & Value-Added Service
capabilities. The CCoE also serves as Comverse's regional Managed
Service operational hub.
In line with Comverse's growth strategy, the Bulgaria CCoE
complements similar Comverse facilities in the Asia/Pacific
region.
"Our core belief is that a global company serves its customers
best by being close to them – listening, responsive – with
empowered regional management for fast, efficient decision making
and effective action," said Gani Nayak, SVP, Systems &
Solutions at Comverse. "As we scale up our activities in line with
our roadmap and managed services activities, the growth of this
strategic site in close proximity to our EMEA customers gives us
greater access to the rich pool of talent that distinguishes this
region."
Working with communication service providers worldwide, Comverse
has identified broad industry needs, and has developed a rich
portfolio of solutions to address these needs: to reduce complexity
and operational expenses; create a more positive user experience
featuring consistency, choice and control; and quickly implement
creative services to support emerging business models. The new CCoE
in Bulgaria will play a strong role in the advancement of
solutions, deployment and operational capabilities to benefit
service providers in the region and around the globe.
"In accordance with the company's growth plans, the Bulgaria
CCoE continues to recruit, and Comverse centers in other regions
are scaling up activities as well, as we invest in a better and
more vibrant future for service providers and their customers
everywhere," said Nayak.
