webMethods Names Andy Wilkinson as General Manager for the Asia Pacific/Japan Region Joins Martyn Eley in Leading the Company's Overseas Operations FAIRFAX, Va., July 28 /PRNewswire/ -- webMethods, Inc. (NASDAQ:WEBM), a leading business integration and optimization software company, today announced the appointment of Andy Wilkinson to serve as the company's general manager for the Asia Pacific/Japan region. Separately, the company announced the recent promotion of Martyn Eley to the position of senior vice president and general manager for the EMEA (Europe, Middle East and Africa) region. Both executives will report directly to Richard P. Chiarello, webMethods' executive vice president of worldwide operations, and will further bolster webMethods' leadership in their respective regions. Earlier in his career, Wilkinson served as the chief operating officer for Advantage Group, a publicly-traded provider of e-commerce and payment solutions, and with Lotus Asia Pacific and IBM Software Group. Prior to his recent promotion, Eley had served as the company's northern european sales director after having been sales manager in the United Kingdom and Ireland. Eley has more than 25 years of experience in the IT sector, including previous positions with Hewlett-Packard and Sequent Computer Systems, and more recently as Vignette's vice president for Northern Europe.
