United Online Promotes Steven B. McArthur to President of Classmates Media Subsidiary

promotion of Steven B. McArthur, 41, to President of its Classmates
Media Corporation subsidiary that provides online social networking
services and online loyalty marketing services. McArthur joined
United Online in August 2007 as President of the company�s
Classmates Online subsidiary, which includes the Classmates social
networking Web site in the U.S. and Canada as well as social
networking Web sites in Europe under the StayFriends and Trombi
brands. In his new role, McArthur assumes the additional operating
responsibility for the company�s MyPoints.com, Inc. subsidiary, a
provider of online loyalty marketing services. MyPoints
Co-President John Fullmer will report to McArthur under the new
operating structure. �Steven�s leadership has established an
operating discipline at Classmates Online that has delivered

expanded role.� Prior to joining Classmates Online, McArthur served
as President of North American operations for Expedia, a leader in

Expedia, Hotels.com and Hotwire. McArthur has also served as
Executive Vice President of Web properties for AOL, where he
provided leadership to AOL Web properties such as Netscape.com,
Mapquest.com and AOL Instant Messenger. He began his tenure at AOL
as President and Chief Executive Officer of AOL Canada. Previously
McArthur served in a variety of executive leadership roles for
Maple Leaf Foods, one of Canada's largest food processing
companies. He began his career at Bain & Company, a global
leader in strategy consulting services, where he advised clients in
the technology, travel, health care and financial services
industries. McArthur earned a Bachelor's degree in Economics from
Queen's University, Belfast, and an MBA from Harvard University.
