Katherine Hunter has joined the company as its new senior vice
president of small business banking and will lead a division
dedicated to small businesses. Hunter will report to UMB Executive
Vice President Brad Smith. With Hunter's leadership, the division
is dedicated to expanding product capabilities and integrated
delivery systems designed specifically for the small business
community. Small business banking products and services are being
enhanced to be straightforward, hassle-free and solution-focused.

with 22 years of banking experience with the last 17 years focusing
on the small business community. Most recently, Hunter was vice
president of the corporate banking division of Commerce Bank
(1997-2005) where she was actively involved in leading small
business banking initiatives. Prior to Commerce, Hunter was the
vice president of the business banking group at Bank of America
(formerly Boatmen's Bank). In 2000, Hunter received the "Women Who
Mean Business" award for being one of the top 25 most influential
business women in Kansas City. She is on the Board of Directors for
Growth Opportunity Connection, Inc., and the EDC Loan Corporation.
