Site Redesign Reflects Modern
Enhancements
The Kentucky Board of Hairdressers and Cosmetologists (KBHC)
launched a redesign of its website, kbhc.ky.gov. The new design
will provide users with instant access to educational, health,
licensing, and regulatory information for all aspects of the beauty
industry.
The redesigned website has a new look and feel as well as other
enhanced features, including an application that allows citizens to
file an online complaint against a licensee. The website is
presented in a responsive design, which allows users to access
information and resources across multiple devices.
“The cosmetology and hairdressing industry continues to evolve
and grow throughout the Commonwealth,” said KBHC Board
Administrator Julie M. Campbell. “It is important for the Board to
provide a website that can meet the changing demands of our more
than 38,000 licensees across the state. The website redesign
provides industry professionals with instant access to important
information through an updated and easy-to-use online
platform.”
The KBHC website was redesigned by Frankfort-based Kentucky
Interactive, LLC, aka Kentucky.gov, via a public-private
partnership.
