NASHVILLE, Tenn., Feb. 14 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Logan's Roadhouse(R), affectionately known as "The Real American Roadhouse," the popular Steakhouse restaurant concept of parent company Cracker Barrel Group (NASDAQ:CBRL), has selected JTECH Communications, a subsidiary of MICROS Systems, Inc. (NASDAQ:MCRS), and its GuestAlert(R) system with the unique GuestPass(TM) pagers for use in Logan's more than 130 company-owned restaurants. Opening 2-3 new corporate locations per month, Logan's is in a growth mode, making the selection of JTECH a strategic decision that provides stability and standardization for the growing restaurant chain. Under the new supplier contract, Logan's plans to have JTECH supply its GuestPass pagers to all new Logan's company-owned restaurants, and also plans to have JTECH upgrade all existing Logan's company-owned restaurants that are currently using either older JTECH systems or competitive paging systems. Logan's 23 franchisee locations will also be encouraged to participate in the program. "The GuestPass product is a significant improvement over other guest paging products we've used at Logan's, and one that we believe will allow us to grow successfully," Rob Effner, Senior Vice President, Development & Operations Innovation at Logan's Roadhouse. "The advanced loss-reduction features will reduce our total cost of ownership in the system and allow us to direct our resources toward the continued growth of the Logan's concept and brand." "We're pleased to provide Logan's with GuestPass, our newest and best guest paging product," commented JTECH founder Dave Miller. "Our business philosophy has always been to partner with our customers to provide appropriate new solutions as their businesses grow. It's gratifying to renew this relationship with Logan's as the concept gains momentum nationally."
