Lakeland Industries, Inc. manufactures and sells a comprehensive line of safety garments and accessories for the industrial protective clothing market. Our products are sold by our in-house customer service group, our regional sales managers and independent sales representatives to a network of over 1,000 safety and mill supply distributors. These distributors in turn supply end user industrial customers such as integrated oil, chemical/petrochemical, utilities, automobile, steel, glass, construction, smelting, munition plants, janitorial, pharmaceutical, mortuaries and high technology electronics manufacturers, as well as scientific and medical laboratories. In addition, we supply federal, state and local governmental agencies and departments such as fire and law enforcement, airport crash rescue units, the Department of Defense, the Department of Homeland Security, and the Centers for Disease Control. In fiscal 2010, we had net sales of $94.1 million. Our net sales attributable to customers outside the United States were $13.0 million, $25.6 million and $32.6 million in fiscal 2008, fiscal 2009 and fiscal 2010, respectively.
