On October 24, 2012, Hudson City Bancorp, Inc. (the Company), the holding company for Hudson City Savings Bank (the Bank), issued a press release announcing financial results
for the quarter ended September 30, 2012. A copy of the press release is attached as Exhibit 99.1 to this Report.
