Fisher Communications, Inc. (NASDAQ: FSCI) announced today that it has signed three affiliation agreements with "THIS-TV," a digital programming service offering a variety of hit movies from the vast library of Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer Studios Inc. (MGM).

The Company has already launched the service on KATU-DT2 in Portland, OR and is planning similar launches on KOMO-DT2, Seattle, WA and on KVAL-DT2, KCBY-DT2 and KPIC-DT2, serving the Eugene, OR DMA.

"'THIS' is very exciting," stated Rob Dunlop, Fisher's senior vice president operations. "Partnering with 'THIS' provides our stations with an additional stream of high-quality content for our viewers and a very attractive environment for our advertisers. The programming is top-notch."

"We are delighted to have Fisher Communications, Inc. as a 'THIS-TV' partner," said John Bryan, executive vice president, Broadcast Strategy, MGM. "With quality films and TV programs from our rich library, 'THIS' is a turn-key offering for stations. We are excited that consumers in Portland are already enjoying the channel and look forward to the launches in Seattle and Eugene."

"THIS," a collective effort between MGM and Chicago-based Weigel Broadcasting Company, draws from more than 4,100 films and 10,000 hours of television programming in the MGM library. In cities where the service has already launched, it has resonated with viewers, outperforming established commercial stations and programming within the first month.

Fisher expects to launch the service in Seattle this spring and in Eugene by fall.
