CHEVIOT, Ohio, Feb. 18 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Cheviot Financial Corp. (NASDAQ:CHEV), holding company of Cheviot Savings Bank, has declared its dividend for the 1st Quarter of 2009. The Company will pay a dividend of $0.10 per share to stockholders of record March 13, 2009. The dividend will be paid March 31, 2009. This is the fifth consecutive year that Cheviot Financial Corp. has increased its dividend. Cheviot MHC, the Company's mutual holding company parent, will waive receipt of the dividend.
