Brooke Credit Appoints Barbara Davison to Board of Directors

OVERLAND PARK, Kan., May 11 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Michael
Lowry, chief executive officer and president of Brooke Credit
Corporation, the finance subsidiary of Brooke Corporation
(NASDAQ:BXXX) announced Brooke Credit has appointed Barbara Davison
to its board of directors. Davison is currently president of the
Investment Training and Consulting Institute Inc. (ITCI) located in
Auburn, Kan., which provides training and consulting in the areas
of investments, derivatives, risk management, and mergers and
acquisitions strategies. The ITCI specializes in auditing
investment and derivative activities for many national and
international Fortune 500 companies. In addition, Davison has been
one of the highest ranking instructors at the Institute of Internal
Auditors for more than 15 years. Previously, Davison served as vice
president for a financial institution where she directed investment
operations for the general account and mutual funds and managed the
portfolio of two mutual funds, which were part of a $7 billion
portfolio. Davison also served as manager of internal audit, where
she was responsible for the management of corporate audit
activities, computer security, information systems audits and
assisted in new business strategies. "We are pleased to welcome

contributions." Davison is a resident of Auburn, Kan., and received

Systems Auditor. Davison successfully completed her Series 7 and 65
licenses from the National Association of Security Dealers. She is
also the author of five books including Auditing Investments,
Auditing Derivatives Strategies, Understanding and Auditing Mergers
and Acquisitions, Understanding and Auditing Investment and
Derivative Strategies, and Presentation, Persuasion and
Facilitation Skills for Auditors. Davison has been a member of The
Institute of Internal Auditors since 1986 and has been awarded the
