Senior Vice President of Operations. Shriver previously served as
Senior Vice President and General Manager of Ameristar Black Hawk
in Colorado. Shriver will be based at Ameristar's corporate office
in Las Vegas and report to John Boushy, Ameristar CEO and
President. In her new role, Shriver will be responsible for all
gaming and hotel operations, with a focus on generating
industry-leading operating results. This will include attention to
identifying and promoting best practices to ensure Ameristar
continues to deliver outstanding guest service and financial

demonstrated a track record of excellence at both the property and
corporate levels," Boushy said. "Over the past two years, Michelle

development and initial construction phase of Ameristar Black
Hawk's new, 536-room luxury hotel, slated for completion in 2009.
"This is a tremendous opportunity to help foster Ameristar's
continuing success and focus on delivering excellent operating
results Companywide," said Shriver. "I am looking forward to
assisting with the many great projects we have underway throughout
the Company and laying the groundwork for future initiatives that
will help fuel the Company's long-term growth." Shriver's career
with Ameristar began in 1996 in the Corporate Marketing Department.
She transferred to a property marketing position in 1998 and
returned to Ameristar Corporate in 2000 as a Director of Marketing.
In that role, Shriver was instrumental in the introduction of Star

development of strategic plans for marketing operations and
Ameristar brand promotional and advertising campaigns. She was
promoted to Vice President and Assistant General Manager of
Ameristar Kansas City in December 2002 and was named Senior Vice
President and General Manager of the Black Hawk property in
November 2005. Shriver holds a bachelor's degree in journalism and
sociology from the University of Southern California and was named
one of "25 People to Watch in 2004" by Global Gaming Business

succeeds Angie Frost, who held the Senior Vice President of
Operations role from January 2002 until mid-2006 and who continues
to work with the Company in a consulting capacity. Boushy said,
"Angie played a tremendously important role in making Ameristar
what it is today and has provided me with irreplaceable assistance
and perspective as I have transitioned into my current role. All of
us at Ameristar appreciate her passion, dedication and hands-on
approach to delivering results. We look forward to Angie's
