CALGARY, ALBERTA (TSX: SNG)(AMEX: SNG) is pleased to announce today that it is expanding its management team in response to the significant growth of the Company.

Mr. Robb Thompson, formerly Chief Financial Officer ("CFO") and Vice President Finance of Berkana Energy Corp. (TSX: BEC)(a TSX public listed company) is joining Canadian Superior as its Chief Financial Officer ("CFO"). Mr. Thompson, a Chartered Accountant, brings over 25 years of diversified technical, financial and operational experience and skills to the Company, and also brings valuable experience gained with KPMG LLP where he acted as audit partner in the energy sector.

Mr. Leif Snethun, P.Geol., a founder of Seeker Petroleum Ltd. ("Seeker"), and currently President and Chief Executive Officer of Seeker, is joining Canadian Superior as Vice President Western Canada. Mr. Snethun is a Professional Geologist and a Member of APEGGA (Association of Professional Engineers, Geologists, and Geophysicists of Alberta). He holds a Bachelor of Science in Geology from the University of Calgary and is a seasoned veteran with over 25 years of oil and gas industry experience in various senior geological, geotechnical and managerial positions.
