Centriforce Technology Corp. (Pink Sheets:CNFO) brings a
transformative new technology to desalinate sea water into fresh
water. Water is the worlds most critical commodity and severe
shortages are emerging worldwide. Already one billion people do not
have any fresh water within a 15 minute walk of their home! Like
every commodity, shortages propel prices higher. What is driving
the world water shortage? Population growth increases demand,
over-use depletes reservoirs and pollution has cut available
drinking water in half. All of these forces increase the need for
an economic desalination technology which can turn abundant sea
water into water for human consumption and agriculture. Although
the world water shortage has been under the radar, experts predict
the world will run out of water before it runs out of oil!
Centriforce is developing an alternative method of desalination
that is expected to use far less energy than reverse osmosis or
flash distillation technologies currently in use. The Centriforce
desalination technology is expected to: Consume significantly less
energy in the process of turning salt water into fresh water;
Provide a scalable technology that can be used in both small
communities and as large industrial desalination plants;
Efficiently deliver clean water in adverse environments; and
Produce less environmental waste than current technologies. Fortune
Magazine recently predicted that water will be to the 21st century
what oil was to the 20th century. Motley Fool predicts that the
water industry will be bigger than railroads in the 1880s; bigger
than pharma in the 1980s and bigger than petroleum in the 1920s
and early 2000s. According to Business Week, oilman T. Boon
Pickens has already invested over $100 million in water. We
believe this is the perfect time to bring CNFOs new technology to
market, stated Matthew Schulman, CEO. By reducing the cost to
produce fresh water, we expect to be the company of choice for many
government entities seeking to solve water shortages for their
constituents, he added. We expect to grow to be a major player in
the water sector in the years ahead as our technology becomes
known, he concluded. The water industry is currently dominated by
legacy technologies provided by conglomerates like General Electric
(NYSE:GE), Dow Chemical (NYSE:DOW) and Owens Corning (NYSE:OC)
which make components for reverse osmosis plants. CNFO expects to
build and operate desalination plants for it clients rather than
sell its technology or equipment to others firms. For more
