Lowe's Names Anthony Hurst President of Lowe's Canada

Lowe's Cos. (LOW) on Tuesday said it named Anthony Hurst
president of Lowe's Canada, pending work authorization, which is
expected next month.
The Mooresville, N.C., home-improvement chain said Mr. Hurst,
who currently serves as senior vice president of enterprise and
strategy transformation, succeeds Tony Cioffi, who has been interim
president since the October retirement of Sylvain Prud'homme.
Lowe's said Mr. Cioffi will resume his previous post as head of
its affiliated dealers, real estate and Dick's Lumber
businesses.
Lowe's in November announced plans to close 34 Canadian stores
and reduce the number of banners it operates under in that
country.
