Justice Dept Asks Ford for Documents About Fiesta, Focus Transmissions --Report

--The U.S. Justice Department is seeking documents and other
information related to transmissions used in Ford Motor Co.'s (F)
Fiesta and Focus vehicles, The Detroit Free Press reports
Wednesday.
--A subpoena issued in April seeks "all documents,
communications and electronically stored information" pertaining to
Ford's DPS6 transmission as far back as 2010, the report said.
--A Ford spokesman declined to say if the company received a
subpoena, according to the report.
--In a prepared statement, the spokesman said, "Ford routinely
cooperates with all federal, state and local regulatory and other
authorities and, as has long been a matter of public record, has in
particular cooperated with the National Highway Traffic Safety
Administration as to DPS6-related issues beginning in 2014,"
according to the report.
