Irish Data Protection Commissioner Opens New Facebook Inquiry -Reuters

--The Irish Data Protection Commissioner on Thursday said it was
opening a new probe of Facebook Inc. (FB) to see if the company
violated data rules pertaining to how it saved user passwords,
Reuters reports Thursday.
--The Irish Data Protection Commissioner is Facebook's lead
regulator in the European Union, the report said.
--Last month, Facebook said a flaw in its system caused millions
of passwords to be stored in a readable format on some of its
internal systems.
