families with a comfortable bed, a hot meal and all the comforts of
home as well as the emotional support that comes from being
surrounded by other families in similar situations. Since 1987,
our House has had more than 28,000 admissions serving
families from all over Eastern NC and beyond. In May 2017, we broke
ground for a 10,000 square foot addition that added 4 new bedrooms,
relocated 3 bedrooms and added an updated kitchen, playroom,
laundry room and dining area. The original House is
currently under renovation for an updated laundry room, family room
space, office areas and a new multipurpose meeting space. These
additions will increase the number of families we serve and help us
be able to serve them better.
