Dallas, Texas – December
19, 2017 -- InvestorsHub NewsWire -- North American Cannabis
Holdings, Inc. (USOTC:
USMJ) with Puration, Inc. (USOTC:PURA) today released an online
presentation providing an update on the two companies coordinated
efforts to be prepared for operations in Canada in conjunction with
Canada’s upcoming nationwide recreational marijuana
legalization. North American Cannabis Holdings is in ongoing
acquisition negotiations that include a role where Puration would
provide its extraction expertise. Puration has separately
announced introducing Cannabis infused beverages in Canada.
The presentation is available online at aciconglomerated.com and
the presentation narrative is available in its entirety below:
Canadian Nationwide Legalization Provides Platform For
Cannabis Brand Strategy
Shaken, not stirred.
Everybody knows that’s how James Bond takes his Martini’s and who’s
cooler than James Bond? In spite of all health warnings,
countless Hollywood productions still make cigarette smoking sexy.
Alcohol and Tobacco have a brand identity independent of any
specific corporate logo that drives the entire industry
forward. In spite of all the statistical health risks
associated with both, western culture has a certain romantic
attraction to cigarette smoking alcoholics. In summary, while
balanced by health risk awareness, alcohol and tobacco enjoy a
positive brand image that is well embedded into western
culture.
Marijuana smoking has
Cheech and Chong, Pineapple Express, and Jeff Sessions.
Clearly, with revenues that arguably exceeds NFL ticket sales,
marijuana has a following that does not likely reflect the goofy
image portrayed by Hollywood, nor identify with Jeff Sessions ideas
on what constitutes criminal behavior.
Without belaboring the brand identities of marijuana compared to
alcohol and tobacco, let alone arguing the merits of legality for
one versus the other, the point here is that no startup or early
stage cannabis company can access the budget necessary to surmount
the legacy of judgmental attitudes or goofy associations
surrounding marijuana when the use or marijuana remains
illegal. The alcohol and tobacco industry have spent decades
and billions overcoming the stigma of prohibition and class action
law suits to achieve the downright sex appeal they enjoy
today. The investment capital necessary to transition from
judged and goofy to sexy and alluring will not be forthcoming until
marijuana prohibition is repealed nationwide. Hence, or
attraction to Canada.
McDonald’s of Dispensaries; Sun Maid Raisons of Growers;
Splenda of Extracts
So our big picture
strategy in Canada is to take advantage of nationwide legalization
as an overall environment were building a brand is possible.
Our even bigger picture strategy is take the brand to the United
States once nationwide legalization is finally achieved. The
steps to achieving that strategy are first to get into the
dispensary and growing business in Canada using a merger and
acquisition strategy. The second step will be to build a
repeatable consumer focused dispensary and growing operation.
The third step will be to repeat the repeatable consumer focused
dispensary and growing operation by opening additional dispensary
and growing operations.
We are in negotiations now with more than one party. We
expect to narrow the field rapidly and commit to the best
option. The negotiations are between North American Cannabis
Holdings and the target Canadian businesses. The negotiations
include Puration becoming an exclusive extractor for the Canadian
operation. Being an exclusive extractor would additionally
support Puration in its independent strategy as a cannabis infused
beverage producer.
Obviously, this is only an outline of the strategy and the broad
steps to achieve the strategy. The goal is to become the
McDonald’s of dispensaries, the Sun Maid Raisons of growers and the
Splenda of extracts for infusion. Look for additional
information to come with more detail on each of the steps in our
overall strategy as our plan progresses and unfolds.
