BOSTON and SEATTLE, Sept. 25,
2017 /PRNewswire/ -- Eaton Vance Corp. (NYSE: EV) and
its affiliate Parametric Portfolio Associates LLC (Parametric)
announced that Thomas E. Faust Jr.,
Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Eaton Vance, and
Brian D. Langstraat, Chief Executive
Officer of Parametric, will ring the Opening Bell at the New York
Stock Exchange today to commemorate Parametric's 30th
anniversary.
Founded in 1987, Parametric manages over $200 billion in assets for institutional and high
net worth investors. The firm develops customized beta and
systematic active strategies and overlay solutions that are rooted
in investment science and constructed in a transparent,
risk-managed way to provide clients with repeatable outcomes.
"Over the last 30 years, Parametric has been at the forefront of
solving investor challenges ranging from tax management, factor
investing and responsible investing to managing volatility," said
Mr. Langstraat. "As investing becomes more complex, we help
investors focus on what they can control – taxes, trading and
investment costs, portfolio risk and operational efficiency –
thereby adding meaningful incremental value. We have been fortunate
to partner with some of the world's largest, most sophisticated
investors to provide them with disciplined, high-value investment
solutions."
Parametric has grown and evolved by offering capabilities
designed to serve investors' changing needs. In 1992, the firm was
among the first to provide customized, tax-managed solutions to
separate account investors. In 2007, Parametric added options-based
strategies and exposure management and, in 2012, acquired The
Clifton Group Investment Management Company, a firm specializing in
providing futures- and options-based overlay services and custom
risk management solutions to institutional investors. Parametric
began international operations in 2014 with the establishment of an
office in Sydney to better meet
the needs of institutions in Australia.
"Parametric's distinctive investment capabilities and commitment
to innovation and client service have been rewarded in the
marketplace by many years of exceptional business growth,
contributing significantly to the overall growth of Eaton Vance,"
said Mr. Faust. "As we celebrate this milestone anniversary, we
look forward to the continued success of Parametric and their
clients and staff."
