New Jersey Natural Gas Wins J.D. Power Award in the East Large Segment Three Years in a Row

For the third consecutive year, New Jersey Natural Gas (NJNG)
ranks “Highest in Customer Satisfaction with Residential Natural
Gas Service in the East among Large Utilities,” according to the
J.D. Power 2017 Gas Utility Residential Customer Satisfaction
Study℠. The study examines customer satisfaction across six factors
— safety and reliability, billing and payment, price, corporate
citizenship, communications and customer service.
NJNG ranked highest in New Jersey with an overall score of 750,
an improvement of 27 points over last year — well above the
regional average of 722. “Winning another J.D. Power award is a
tremendous accomplishment by our exceptional team of dedicated

NJNG scored highest in the safety and reliability, billing and
payment, price and customer service categories among large natural
gas utilities in the east that serve 400,000 customers or more.
Since J.D. Power began measuring the customer satisfaction of
natural gas utilities 16 years ago, NJNG has been recognized 12
times for its ongoing commitment to customers.
New Jersey Natural Gas received the highest numerical score
among large utility providers in the East in the J.D. Power
2015-2017 Gas Utility Residential Customer Satisfaction Study. 2017
study based on 61,323 total responses, measuring the opinions of
customers with their gas utility company, surveyed September
