closers of transaction sides than any other brand in the
12th Annual REAL Trends "The Thousand," released this
morning.

Among the 508 individual agents and agent teams closing the most
residential transaction sides in this year's "The Thousand," nearly
25 percent (112) are RE/MAX
agents. In the category for transaction sides sold by individuals,
each of the 58 qualifying RE/MAX
agents sold at least 10 times as many homes as the agent median of
12**, as reported by the National Association of Realtors®. Ten
RE/MAX agents finished in the top
50, led by #6 John Swartz of
RE/MAX Connection in Turnersville, New Jersey, with 405 transaction
sides.
Other notable recognitions of RE/MAX agents and teams in the 2017 "The
Thousand:"
- Of the 54 RE/MAX teams ranked
for transaction sides, 12 finished in the top 50, led by #4
Ryan O'Neill's Minnesota Real Estate
Team with RE/MAX Advantage in
Lakeville, Minnesota (1,583
sides).
- Regarding sales volume, the 24 ranked RE/MAX teams were led by Ronnie and Kathy Matthews of the Matthews Team
of RE/MAX Legends in Spring, Texas. It placed 15th with
$408.3 million.
- Ten RE/MAX individual agents
placed for sales volume, led by #94 William
Ruane of RE/MAX Estate
Properties in El Segundo,
California, with $108.1
million.
Advertised in The Wall Street Journal, the annual REAL
Trends "The Thousand" ranks participating U.S. agents based on
their 2016 residential production. The list is comprised of six
categories: 250 teams ranked by largest sales volume, 250 teams
ranked by most residential transaction sides, 50 teams ranked by
average price, 250 individuals ranked by largest sales volume, 250
individuals ranked by most residential transaction sides and 50
individuals ranked by average price.
Other national surveys have demonstrated the high productivity
of RE/MAX agents. RE/MAX recently announced that its agents
outperformed agents with other real estate brands in the 2017 REAL
Trends 500 survey. Associates affiliated with the RE/MAX network regularly average double the
number of transaction sides per agent when compared with
competitors in the annual survey of large brokerages.

2017 survey on average outsold competing agents with a ratio of
more than two to one and averaged 17.2 transaction sides while
agents with competitors averaged 7.8.
