(NASDAQ: VNET) is partnering with Microsoft and Tencent to enhance Tencent Weiyun by leveraging Office Online
operated by 21Vianet. The partnership will enable users of
Tencent's cloud storage service, Weiyun, to view and to
collaboratively edit Office documents online. The new service will
increase the efficiency with which users can collaborate via the
cloud and access Office documents via multiple devices.
Tencent Weiyun is the first cloud storage in China, as well as one of the world's
first, to feature an association with Microsoft Office in 2016. In
2017, 21Vianet, Microsoft and Tencent
are deepening their cooperation into PC-based services such as
document management as well as real-time synchronization, editing,
sharing and collaborating.
Office Online, which is operated by 21Vianet in China, enables Tencent Weiyun users to view, edit and share
Office documents through a web
browser. It features a simple cloud-based document process and no
installation is required, further increasing usage scenarios of
individual cloud storage.

solutions enabling cross-platform technical support, streamline the
use of Office Online for Tencent
Weiyun users by eliminating technical difficulties such as account
sharing, authentication and storage barriers. Millions of
Tencent Weiyun users can
simultaneously connect to, share and edit documents seamlessly via
multi-device access.

enhanced convenience of a mobile office anytime, anywhere as well
as office collaboration among multiple enterprise users, thus

Tencent Weiyun. All changes are
