GameStop Announces New Supply of Nintendo Switch Systems Available Just in Time for the Launch of Mario Kart 8 Deluxe
April 26 2017 - 9:30AM
Just in time for the April 28 launch of Mario Kart 8 Deluxe,
GameStop, a family of specialty retail brands that makes the most
popular technologies affordable and simple, announced today that it
just received a limited supply of Nintendo Switch systems available
immediately for customers in-store only and while supplies last.
“It's perfect timing to have additional Nintendo Switch units
arrive just days before the launch of Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, one of
the biggest and most loved games from Nintendo,” said Eric Bright,
senior director of Merchandising for GameStop. “This is truly an
amazing pairing of the latest in Nintendo technology innovation
with a classic, iconic game.”
The Nintendo Switch system and Mario Kart 8 Deluxe are available
for individual purchase. GameStop will offer the Nintendo Switch
system for $299.99, and Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, the latest game to
launch on the innovative Nintendo Switch platform, for
$59.99. Additionally, GameStop is offering great accessories
and collectible toys, such as the Mario Kart Mini Anti-Gravity RC
Racer for $49.99, and the Nintendo Switch Racing Wheel or Switch
Joy-Con Racing Wheel both for $14.99.
To make a Nintendo Switch purchase even more affordable,
GameStop is offering up to a $200 credit when a customer trades in
a PlayStation 4, Xbox One, new Nintendo 3DS or Wii U (32GB) and
applies the credit towards the purchase of a Nintendo Switch. This
offer is currently available and runs through Sunday, April
30.
“If Nintendo Switch and/or Mario Kart 8 Deluxe is on a
customer’s gaming wish list, I would strongly suggest they plan to
come to our stores as soon as they can. These products will not
last through the weekend!” Bright continued.
Customers should contact their store for availability and more
information.
