announcement today by the Government of Québec that it will
continue to invest in sustainable development initiatives by
offering avenues of consultation to encourage the implementation of
sustainable projects in electric mobility.
Ms. Dominique Anglade, minister of Economy, Science and
Innovation and minister responsible for the Digital Strategy, made
the official announcement at the Forum de mobilisation sur la
création d'une grappe sur les véhicules électriques et intelligents
[mobilisation forum on the creation of a cluster on electric and
intelligent vehicles], alongside Mr. Laurent Lessard, minister of Transport,
Sustainable Mobility and Transport Electrification, minister of
Agriculture, Fisheries and Food and minister responsible for the
Centre‑du‑Québec region, Mr. Pierre
Arcand, minister of Energy and Natural Resources, minister
responsible for the Plan Nord and minister responsible for
the Côte-Nord region, and Mr. David
Heurtel, minister of Sustainable Development, the
Environment and the Fight Against Climate Change.

Québec this morning and the new Grappe industrielle pour le
développement du transport électrique et intelligent [industrial
cluster for the development of electric and intelligent
transport].
A base in Montreal, ABB and its
new North-American Centre of Excellence in E-mobility announced in
Davos earlier this year, will be
inaugurated on May 24, 2017, falls in
line with the aspirations of Québec.
