As of March 23, 2017, George M. Scalise has decided to retire from the Board of Directors (the “Board”) of Cadence Design Systems, Inc. and not stand for re-election at the 2017 Annual Meeting of Stockholders, which is scheduled to be held on May 4, 2017 (the “Annual Meeting”). Mr. Scalise intends to serve on the Board until the Annual Meeting.
