Kids from the Calgary Police
Foundation's It's a Crime Not to Read program to join CIBC for a
special event
CALGARY, Dec. 5, 2016 /CNW/ - CIBC (TSX: CM)
(NYSE: CM) invites media to join Canadian Country Music artist
Paul Brandt as he helps make
miracles happen for kids-in-need at the 32nd CIBC
Miracle Day. Last year CIBC Miracle Day raised more than
$6 million globally for over 550
children's charities. All money raised in Calgary stays in the community and helps
support local children's charities.
To celebrate this year's CIBC Miracle Day, Paul Brandt and the Calgary Police Service will hold story time
for a group of kids from It's a Crime Not to Read an
award-winning uniquely "Made in Calgary" initiative that connects students in
Grades 2 – 4 with members of the Calgary Police Service by way of reading.
