ST. LOUIS, Dec. 5, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Express Scripts
(NASDAQ: ESRX) received a perfect score of 100 percent on the 2017
Corporate Equality Index (CEI), a national benchmarking survey and
report on corporate policies and practices related to LGBT
workplace equality, administered by the Human Rights Campaign
Foundation. The company joins the ranks of 517 major U.S.
businesses which also earned top marks this year.
"Express Scripts recognizes that the key competitive
differential for success is its people. And diversity among them
has been essential because of the diversity of the 85 million
patients we serve," said Susan
Stith, Vice President Diversity, Inclusion and Corporate

dynamic and more innovative − all factors that lead to the
collaborative processes, technological advances and organizational
and economic growth. We're proud to achieve a top score of
100 on the Human Rights Campaign's Corporate Equality Index."
The 2017 CEI rated 1,043 businesses in the report, which

benefits, transgender-inclusive health care benefits, competency
programs, and public engagement with the LGBT community. Express
Scripts' efforts in satisfying all of the CEI's criteria results in
