CALGARY, Nov. 29, 2016 /CNW/ - Maple Leaf Green World
(MGW-V) ("Maple Leaf" or the "Company")
announces that Mr. Matt Berger also
known as Bubba Kush has joined Maple
Leaf as the Chief Grower for its Nevada marijuana project. Bubba will be
personally overseeing the cultivation process at our Nevada site, and he will also be growing some
of his most prized genetics for the Company. Maple Leaf is
delighted to enter into this partnership, as Bubba Kush is a formidable figure in the
cannabis industry and he has plans to bring his most prized genetic
cannabis strains to California and
Canada for the Company.
Bubba Kush is a widely recognized
figure and significant contributor to the cannabis industry. He has
been cultivating cannabis for 25 years, developing genetics,
gathering awards, and starting various cannabis-related businesses
along the way. He has co-founded The Cannaseur Dispensaries in
Colorado and has built out,
managed and operated several cannabis cultivation facilities. He is
credited with discovering (and naming) the Kush in 1992, which
later became known as OG Kush, the strain that High Times
Magazine named the "#1 Cannabis Strain of All Time". Matt is also
credited with creating the Purple Kush and Bubba Kush strains from the Kush and from his
original cut of the "Bubba". The history of Mr. Matt Berger can also be found on You Tube under
the heading "History of Bubba
Kush".
Furthermore, the Company has selected a warehouse property in
Henderson, Nevada (within a 15
minute drive from Las Vegas) and
is in the process of securing this property. Once the warehouse
property is secured by Maple Leaf, the cultivation permit owned by
BioNeva (see news release dated November 8,
2016) can be transferred to the Company and the Company's
operations in Nevada can be
commenced.
