WALTHAM, Mass., July 12, 2016 /PRNewswire/
-- Tecogen® Inc. (NASDAQ: TGEN), a leading provider
of cost efficient, clean and reliable products for power
production, heating and cooling which, through patented technology,
nearly eliminate criteria pollutants and significantly reduce a
customer's carbon footprint, today announced backlog of products
and installation services as of June 30,
2016 was $14.0 million, more
than 20% growth over prior quarter ended backlog of $11.5 million (as of March
31, 2016).
"As was demonstrated by notable project wins in the quarter, the
sales team is executing well and our work to build relationships
with key project partners is starting to pay off. The
multi-unit order for a Long Island school district, the full
turnkey order from a New Jersey
developer we have worked closely with in the past, continued growth
in the indoor ag market for our chillers, the repeat order from
Stanley Black & Decker, and
announcement of our third project with FirstService Residential all
are notable accomplishments that drove backlog well above
management's goal of delivering at least $10
million in quarterly backlog," said Benjamin Locke, Co-Chief Executive Officer.
Tecogen has shipped over 185 megawatts of ultra-efficient
natural gas fueled equipment including combined heat and power,
chillers, and heat pump capacity. The company's reliable machinery
has generated over 7 billion kilowatt hours of energy - powering
residential, commercial, recreational and industrial facilities
worldwide. Using the patented Ultera emissions control technology
to cut emission of harmful pollutants (including NOx, CO, and
hydrocarbons) down to near-zero levels, on par with fuel cells,
Tecogen equipment is among the cleanest and most reliable solutions
for clean power generation available today.
