On April 28, 2016, Lori W. Silverstein gave notice of her resignation as Senior Vice President, Controller of Boston Properties, Inc. (the
Company) effective as of May 13, 2016 to pursue other opportunities. Ms. Silverstein specifically acknowledged that her resignation did not result from any disagreement regarding the Companys financial reporting or
accounting policies, procedures, estimates or judgments.
In addition, in connection with Ms. Silversteins resignation, Michael E. LaBelle, the
Companys Executive Vice President, Chief Financial Officer and Treasurer, assumed Ms. Silversteins responsibilities as the Companys principal accounting officer effective as of April 29, 2016.
