upgrade and expand the Denver-based cable company's business services
network in the Midwest and Southeastern areas of the United
States.
Built upon the Alcatel-Lucent 7750 Service Router and associated
product family, the all-IP network is being deployed in 19 markets
and has already enabled WOW! Business to deliver carrier-grade
Ethernet services to businesses in Chicago, Detroit, Cleveland, Columbus and Evansville with more market rollouts on the
way.
The network will enable the WOW! Business, a division of WOW!
Internet, Cable & Phone, to meet the growing need for
ultra-broadband business services and applications, including VPN,
Cloud and data center interconnect services, as well as cell tower
backhaul.
