U.S. Dollar Rises Against Majors

The U.S. dollar strengthened against the other major currencies
in the European session on Tuesday.
The U.S. dollar rose to a a 2-year high of 1.2589 against the
euro, a 15-month high of 0.9579 against the Swiss franc and a
2-week high of 1.6193 against the pound, from early lows of 1.2701,
0.9498 and 1.6283, respectively. At yesterday's close, the
greenback was trading at 1.2684 against the euro, 0.9512 against
the franc and 1.6239 against the pound.
Against the yen, the greenback edged up to 109.70 from an early
low 109.18. The pair was quoted at 109.48 at yesterday's close.
If the greenback extends its uptrend, it is likely to find
resistance around 1.255 against the euro, 0.96 against the franc,
1.60 against the pound and 110.00 against the yen.
