announced the winners of the “Best of VMworld” 2014 Awards at the
VMworld® 2014 conference being held this week in San Francisco and
sponsored by VMware, Inc.
As the official media partner for the VMworld Awards for the
seventh year in a row, TechTarget’s SearchServerVirtualization.com™
staff appointed a team of experts and editors that selected winning
products from more than 200 entries. The team judged the products
according to their innovation, value, performance, reliability and
ease of use.
The awards cover the following nine categories of the
virtualization market: Storage and Backup for Virtualized
Environments; Security & Compliance and Virtualization;
Virtualization Management; Networking and Virtualization; Desktop
Virtualization and End-User Computing; Private Cloud Computing
Technologies; Public/Hybrid Cloud Computing Technologies; New
Technology; and Best of Show.
The Best of Show award was presented to DataGravity. The full
list of winners was announced on SearchServerVirtualization.com
along with short videos from the show and extensive conference
coverage.
Only products currently available for purchase were considered
for categories other than the New Technology category. Products
being demonstrated, but not available for purchase, were considered
only for the New Technology category.
