FedEx Office® and DeskNet announced
today a combination of the power and flexibility of FedEx Office’s
national printing network with the ease-of-use and compliance
controls of DeskNet’s ContentWelder™ Global Document Portal. This
business and technology collaboration offers enterprise customers a
single point of access for managing their customer-facing print and
electronic communications, while helping ensure brand and legal
compliance.
“Sales and marketing professionals typically log on to several
different systems to communicate with their customers in the course
of a day,” said Aimee DiCicco, senior vice president of Sales for
FedEx Office. “By providing a single, integrated
desktop-to-doorstep solution, our customers can realize significant
productivity gains.”
To use the joint solution, corporate users login through their
web browser to access their secure, customized landing page. From
there they can order static or customizable documents, pre-printed
documents, or upload their own documents from their desktop. During
checkout, users can select from a broad range of finishing,
distribution, and delivery options via FedEx Office’s 1,800+
locations. Through the same web interface, users can track shipping
and delivery status. The solution allows management oversight on
performance and usage data through customizable reports and
dashboards.
“To stay competitive in an increasingly challenging business
environment, enterprises are investing heavily in data analysis and
reporting systems,” said Michael Fitzsimons, CEO of DeskNet Inc.
“The problem for most organizations is their usage and performance
data is split across multiple systems and is tracked only part-way
to the customer, so no matter how sophisticated the tools are,
management only gets a partial view of reality. The FedEx Office
and ContentWelder solution generates a single, comprehensive set of
data and provides it in easy-to-read reports and dashboards,
allowing management to gain the competitive edge they’re looking
for.”
