& NJ LED Lighting Needs
AUSTIN, TX--(Marketwired - Oct 30, 2013) - Building Turbines,
Inc. (PINKSHEETS: BLDW), developer of the patented BT5000
horizontal axis wind turbine (HAWT) and distributor of Energy
Saving LED lighting, Solar and Generator Solutions through Green
City Planet, a fully owned subsidiary, is pleased to announce the
consummation of their initial LED Lighting sale to Solid State
Supply, in connection with the company's project to supply LED
bulbs and accessories to various public agencies in the states of
New York and New Jersey. This initial project was instrumental
in establishing Building Turbines' products and performance, prior
to proceeding with the rest of their much larger state, county and
city projects for LED lighting upgrade initiatives.
"Solid State Supply is a major supplier of LED lighting
products to the States of New York and New Jersey. We are
placing sizeable orders with Building Turbines/ Green City Planet
for specific products that they have proved meet strict
specifications, and timelines required. This is only the first part
of a very large order that we will be working on with Building
Turbines/ Green City Planet, for projects in the States of New York
and New Jersey; as well as various counties and municipalities for
LED upgrade needs. We are very impressed with the quality of
their products and quick response times of their
management," stated James Gatzonis, President of
Solid State Supply.
This initial project represents between twenty and twenty-five
thousand dollars in new revenues for Building Turbines. "This
was a small order of 800 custom bulbs, designed to prove that we
could meet the stringent requirements on schedule, performance, and
ability to meet very strict specifications. We exceeded all
expectations of Solid State Supply; as evidenced in a long line of
much larger orders, being finalized starting this week. We
have positioned ourselves, based on our product specifications and
warranties, to have a significant advantage to be preferred vendor,
for Solid State Supply in all their States of New York and New
Jersey; state, county and city projects," said John
Graham Sr., CEO, Building Turbines, Inc.
