announced today that its distribution subsidiary Camelot
Distribution Group ("CDG") and CDG's genre division DarKnight
Pictures ("DKP") will be presenting a bold line-up of feature film
and library titles at the American Film Market ("AFM"), which opens
today in Santa Monica, California.
Camelot will be screening five films at AFM, which runs from
October 31 to November 7.
Camelot President Steven Istock, CDG
President Jessica Kelly and CDG Head
of Sales Michael Lavey will be leading Camelot's sales team. CDG
and DKP will be located at the Loews Hotel, office 704.
CDG will be premiering two titles at this year's AFM. TEACHER
OF THE YEAR is a comedy about a documentary crew that follows
teacher (Matt Letscher), who has
just been named Teacher of the Year at an eccentric high school.
CDG will also premiere the romantic comedy, IT'S NOT YOU, IT'S

Dave (Ross McCall) and Carrie
(Joelle Carter) decide to break-up,
conflicting voices in their heads cause them to take a second look
at friendship and love.
DKP will unveil the sci-fi action adventure film
SCAVENGERS, about two rival crews battling to protect alien
technology that threatens the universe. The film stars Sean Patrick Flanery (The Boondock
Saints) and Jeremy London
(Mallrats, Gods and Generals). DKP will also be premiering
NATIONAL LAMPOON'S ANOTHER DIRTY MOVIE, starring Jonathan Silverman (Weekend at Bernie's,
Made) and Nolan Gerard Funk
(House at the End of the Street, X2). The highly anticipated
follow-up to National Lampoon's Dirty Movie, NATIONAL LAMPOON'S
ANOTHER DIRTY MOVIE is a comedy about two film students who make a
movie to get the chicks without any thought of making money.
In addition, DKP is screening YOU CAN'T KILL STEPHEN KING, a
horror comedy where a group of friends venture to the lake where
Stephen King lives and find
themselves as the next victims.
"We are premiering some great commercial films at the market. We
are very excited to represent these new titles, our library titles
and some of our upcoming films at AFM," commented Jessica Kelly, President of Distribution.
"By having films that represent a wide variety of budget and
genre's, we are poised to meet the content demands of the
world-wide marketplace."
CDG will also be selling the long awaited family film WIENER
DOG NATIONALS, now in post production, which tells the story of
a small wiener dog who gives it everything she's got to win the
final race and bring a fractured family close again; the
crime-thriller BURN, starring Danny
Glover (Lethal Weapons) and Sean Faris (Never Back Down), which is a modern
day Body Heat; and SNIPPED, the reteaming the comedic
Weekend at Bernie's duo Andrew
McCarthy and Jonathan
Silverman. CDG will also be handling pre-sales for
THE 34th BATTALION at AFM, a true story about the
