SAN DIEGO, April 20 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- BizAuctions,
Inc. (Pink Sheets: BZCN), a prime provider of commercial eBay and
Amazon liquidation services for excess inventories, overstocks and
returns, and La Jolla Liquidation & Auction Co. are tentatively
planning for the 1st live-auction of furniture, fixtures, and
equipment (FF & E) from the Tropicana Hotel & Casino in
Las Vegas, Nevada.
Delmar Janovec, CEO comments, "We
are working in conjunction with management of La Jolla Liquidation
in establishing the date for the 1st live-auction of merchandise to
be held at BizAuctions warehouse, at 1510 Corporate Center Drive,
Otay Mesa, CA. Tentatively, the date for the live-auction has been
set for May 21 or the 22nd for the
sale of the first furniture, fixtures, and equipment received from
the renovation of the Tropicana Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas.
BizAuctions and La Jolla Liquidation & Auction Co. to date
have received five (5) semi-truck loads of furniture, fixtures, and
equipment from the Tropicana Hotel consisting mostly of high-grade
kitchen and bar equipment items to include hundreds of boxes of
very nice dinner-ware. Most of the first FF & E items that have
been received will be more conducive to and bring better prices at
a live-auction forum rather than on our eBay or Amazon platforms.
Although, we have begun to list some items from the first phase of
renovation of the Tropicana Hotel & Casino on eBay that we
believe will bring a higher price than through the planned
live-auctions."
Romy Ashjian, President of La
Jolla Liquidation remarks, "I personally was involved in the
removal of most of the first furniture, fixtures, and equipment
pieces, particularly in the kitchen areas, that included a very
expensive buffet-serving line when it was purchased new. The buffet
line is still in extremely good condition and would well
accommodate a restaurant operation. We have just begun receiving
the 1st of many truck-loads to come of very good equipment that
will provide many more years of usage for businesses that have
restaurant or hospitality operations. This equipment should bring
good liquidation prices at the live-auction and yet can be
purchased at a significant savings from its original price."
The renovation of the Tropicana Hotel & Casino is being
completed in phases with the renovation of approximately 800
suite-rooms, kitchen areas, banquet-conference areas, and meeting
rooms, spa, and casino areas. Included in the renovation will be
the removal of the amazing antique stained-glass ceiling above the
poker and craps tables in the main casino area of the
Tropicana.
"BizAuctions employs two primary business models, whereby it
liquidates inventory through eBay and Amazon on consignment for a
lucrative commission; and/or it purchases inventory at a fraction
of retail price for the purpose of liquidating it for a profit.
BizAuctions consigns, buys inventory, and liquidates through eBay
and Amazon platforms and its recently opened retail store,
Lucky 7's," continues Janovec.
