SPG Media Group PLC announces that it was yesterday informed that Steven
Nicholson, Chairman, purchased 196,500 ordinary shares in the Company at a price
of 10.25p on 15th June 2004.

The Company also announces that it was today informed that Mr Nicholson
purchased a further 53,500 ordinary shares in the Company at a price of 11p on
16th June 2004.

Following the above purchases, Mr Nicholson is now interested in 712,500 shares,
representing approximately 0.8 per cent. in the Company.
