Notification of Major Interests in Shares

PowderJect Pharmaceuticals PLC received on the 31st March 2000, a notification
from Norwich Union Investment Management, informing them that following a
purchase of 250,000 shares on 30th March 2000, the Norwich Union Group
material interest is 3,925,575 Ordinary Shares, representing 5.27 per cent. of
the issued Ordinary Share capital of the Company. These shares are registered
as follows:-
