                             Employee Option Issue

Leyshon Resources Limited ("Leyshon") (ASX & AIM: LRL) today advises that it
proposes to issue employee options to its Chief Executive Officer, Mr Vic
McLaglen and Senior Exploration Geologist, Mr Malcolm Wilson.


Under the proposal, which will be put to shareholders for approval at the Annual
General Meeting, Mr McLaglen will be entitled to receive 1,100,000 options and
Mr Wilson 800,000 options.  The options will be exerciseable within a 3 year
period and will vest in 2 equal tranches over a period of 12 months, with the
first tranche vesting after 6 months.  The first tranche will be exerciseable at
40 cents per share and the second tranche at 55 cents per share.
