           CHILEAN COPPER PROJECT (DIRECT AND INDIRECT INTEREST 64%)

                                     UPDATE

In the Company's 30 September 2006 Quarterly Activities Report, Investika Ltd
(AIM : IVK), the investment company in the mining finance industry with a focus
on pre-production emerging resource opportunities, advised that SRK Consultants
of Santiago had been commissioned to develop a resource block model and a JORC
standard ore estimate for the Las Pascualas project, to be completed in October.


Contemporaneously with SRK Consultants performing this work, the Company has
continued exploration drilling on the project.


SRK Consultants will be provided with the data from this drilling programme to
be incorporated in their block model and ore estimate. Accordingly, their report
will now not be ready until the New Year.


Roger Shakesby, who is an independent consultant engaged by the Company, is a
Member of the Australasian Institute of Mining and Metallurgy and the Geological
Society of Australia and is the qualified person that has reviewed and approved
the technical information contained in this announcement.  He has a B.Sc from
the University of Durham in Geology and Geography and has 45 years experience in
the mining industry.  His knowledge gained in PNG, the Philippines, the USA and
Chile is relevant to the style of mineralisation and deposit formation in Chile.
