      But there is also another way of looking at this. If you and have 1000 shares purchased at say $10, and then we but 1000 more at $5, our cost basis drops to $7.50 a share.  But when we look at Denner's cost basis now at $1whatever. NOT really.  He sold and booked losses on his higher priced shares.
