Clipper Ventures Plc ("Clipper" or "the Company")


Clipper was yesterday informed that Sir Robin Knox-Johnston and William Ward
each purchased 100,000 shares at a cost of 19p per share.  Sir Robin
Knox-Johnston now owns 2,376,608 shares, representing 8.97 per cent. of the
ordinary issued share capital of the Company and William Ward now owns 5,914,881
shares representing 22.33 per cent. of the Company.
