CLIPPER VENTURES REWARDS FAST TRACK SAILING WITH LONGTERM COMMERCIAL PARTNERSHIP

Clipper Ventures plc ("Clipper Ventures" or the "Company"), the AIM-listed
marine sports company, has today announced that they have rewarded Fast Track
Sailing with a new eight year partnership to act as their exclusive global
commercial and media partner for the Clipper Round the World Yacht Race.

Fast Track Sailing, a dedicated division of Sports Marketing Agency Fast Track,
will continue to raise sponsorship revenues for the Clipper Races and advise on
global media strategy.

Having raised in excess of #3.5 million to date for the Clipper Races, Fast
Track Sailing have taken sponsorship in the global sailing arena to another
level.  Today's newly announced partnership specifies Fast Track's objective to
raise #27 million in associated sponsorship revenues over the course of four
Clipper Races.

"What Fast Track Sailing has created is a sustainable sponsorship platform which
builds long term partnerships with cities around the world.  We are delighted
with the results and, as such, have awarded Fast Track Sailing the contract to
work closely with Clipper Ventures," said Sir Robin Knox-Johnston, Chairman of
Clipper Ventures.

A city sponsorship formula has given Fast Track Sailing the platform to work
with international cities identifying key commercial and tourism centres and
translating their objectives on the global events stage.

Jo Griffiths, Director of Fast Track Sailing, added, "It is an incredible sense
of achievement to bring cities, their communities and their businesses together
through an international event.  This event will play a central role in
strengthening friendly ties with other nations, and allow cities to promote and
organise a world class global participation sporting event."

The newly introduced concept of "nation versus nation" for the Clipper 05-06
event and the increase of the fleet size to ten longer and faster yachts
strengthens Clipper Ventures' position as the foremost adventure and event
management company within the arena of world yachting.  Along with the new
sponsorship formula, Fast Track will maximise the success of the event via the
international media strategy.

Edward Leask, Founder of Fast Track, said, "We have a successful history
spanning 25 years of marketing the global TV rights for the Commonwealth Games.
We are therefore confident that the TV strategy in place for the Clipper 05-06
Race will deliver global reach for our cities and their sponsors."

With all ten boats to be sponsored by cities and nations, the Clipper 05-06 Race
will provide a unique global marketing platform for sponsors to exploit.  Fast
Track Sailing is working with Clipper Ventures to ensure that this event will
exceed all expectations.
