Tatneft PJSC said Friday that net profit and revenue for the first quarter of 2021 rose from the previous quarter.

The Russian oil-and-gas company reported a quarterly net profit of 43.59 billion Russian rubles ($595.2 million), compared with RUB24.89 billion in the fourth quarter of 2020.

Revenue rose to RUB257.83 billion from RUB198.74 billion the prior quarter.

Tatneft produced 6.5 million metric tons of crude oil in the first quarter, unchanged from the fourth quarter of last year, and 196.8 million cubic meters of gas, slightly below the previous quarter's output of 199.2 million cubic meters of gas.
