New Investigation Suggests Tesla And NHTSA Withheld Info Surrounding Autopilot Crashes

A new report from the Wall Street Journal analyzed crash data together with redacted federal filings and police records pertaining to Tesla’s Autopilot.
Details of over 200 Autopilot-related accidents were complied, with new patterns being discovered.
The report states that in the accidents, Tesla’s Autopilot struggled with obstacle avoidance, and cars also veered off the road.

It finds that in these situations, Tesla’s Autopilot has struggled with obstacles and suggests that the system has also exhibited cases where cars can veer off the road while Autopilot is engaged.

The following collection of accidents are where Teslas behaved in very similar manner, leading to accidents regardless of it being operated by intoxicated drivers, regular drivers, professional drivers, Autopilot, or FSD. This is done to showcase the core problem is hardware related not driver/software. When nearly the same things occurs across a diverse collection of use cases regardless of model & year, the only logical conclusion is that there is something wrong with the vehicles themselves and that they pose a significant danger to society. In fact there is new investigation that NHTSA is purposefully hiding information in regards to these veering Teslas using ADA systems. Despite this, NHTSA needs to expand its compilation of data to include every situation a Tesla suddenly veers off the road because the problem, as i show, extends beyond ADA systems.
I focus specifically on accidents where the Teslas may have suddenly accelerated and/or veered into objects (like trees). No amount of software updates can fix a hardware issue when its susceptible to electromagnetic interference; Teslas and other EVs are just "computers on wheels" susceptible to EMI. Im also noting the Model to showcase this issue impacts every model and year of Tesla. Only model missing atm is a roadster as very few were produced and are less likely to be driven.

Greensboro woman, 31, dies of injuries in car crash

Daly was operating her 2020 Tesla Model Y north on Westridge Road, according to the news release. She drove through the southbound lanes and off the roadway to the left, police said. The vehicle struck two large trees.

Daly was taken to the hospital with life-threatening injuries and died on Tuesday.
Model Y veers to the left through oncoming lanes, off the road, and into trees resulting in the death of the driver.

Two Indian youths died in the accident in Tracy, USA IG News -Regular Driver

It was learned that a speeding Tesla crashed into a fire hydrant at Macarthur Boulevard and Grant Lane Road in Tracy at 9.45pm on Friday night, then crashed into a tree and burst into flames. Within seconds, the car burst into flames, and two Indian youths, Arvind Ram (37) (Maharashtra) and Amrik Singh Vander (34) of village Vander (Kotakpura), Punjab, were burnt to death in the car. . Behind their car, their other friends were coming in another car, who tried hard to save their friends, but the car got locked and they could not do anything because of the flames.
Two vehicles driving home, it appears, the Tesla in the front suddenly accelerates and then veers off the road into a fire hydrant and into a tree where it burst into flames burning occupants while the friends tried to rescue and watched in horror.

So, it was not Elons mean tweets. It was government and hedge funds meddling with the Tesla stock price that created such low numbers. ...... got it.

The FSD, reliable once again?

Bob claims that his Tesla, with the Full Self-Driving engaged, pulled left while waiting for the cars in front of it to move, as the pickup truck was approaching it. That is how the Ford did not slam into the trunk of the Model 3 but into its quarter panel. While it did severe damage, the full blow might have caused injuries to those on board.
The trunk lid was pushed back, the rear bumper was split in two, the rear right taillight was shattered, the rear fender was badly deformed, and the rear right door did not look great either. However, surprisingly, the window is still in one piece.
Most likely, the frame of the EV also sustained deformation and fixing it would be more expensive than the car itself. But the FSD might have just saved those on board from serious injuries or even worse.

I'm begging all of you to NEVER get in a Tesla as long as you live. It started accelerating on its own in a parking garage and my dad lost all control of the car and we ran into a wall at 40 mph. Most horrifying experience of my life.

Teslas growth story has stalled and Musk said economy is going to contract which will hurt its growth abilities next year. I think hes trying to get people to short this to help squeeze. Your assessment seems correct but this likely needs Trump win for next leg (which i think the chart is indicating). Apparently Harris win will cause a crash.

You live in opposite land? Drops before news is usually bullish. Pumps before news is usually bearish. Again, my chart suggests accumulation is going on so do not hold short positions. This could drop more after earnings but that just means TSLA will pump with election which suggests Trump winning.

Tesla Set to Autopilot Crashes Along I-80 in Clarion Township - Autopilot

Police say 32-year-old Vu H. Tran, of Cortland, Ohio, was traveling west in a 2023 Tesla Y that was set to autopilot.

According to police, Tran was distracted by his mobile device and lost control of the vehicle which exited the north berm.

The vehicle then traveled into an area with high vegetation as it came to final rest.
Nothing to indicate why the Tesla on autopilot decided to veer of the interstate, but this is one of the more benign veer accidents ive covered.

This is done to showcase the core problem is hardware related not driver/software. When nearly the same things occurs across a diverse collection of use cases regardless of model & year, the only logical conclusion is that there is something wrong with the vehicles themselves and that they pose a significant danger to society.

The autopilot case the Tesla veered off the road and rolled into a tree. 2 Autopilot cases suddenly veered into the median. 2 regular driver incidents involved locked steering. It appears as though the Semi suffered some sort of electrical issue causing an engine to catch fire and it veer off the interstate into trees. The Cybertruck incident also involved locked steering but included sudden unintended acceleration.
