VDB correct!!!! See Nvidia amongst Customer connections list here

Comprehensive review LWLG known Customer connections

The Customer Funnel slide was updated at the Safe Capital presentation in April 2024 just a few weeks after the OFC 200Gbs World Class demonstrations, this update showed greater than 20 Prospects and greater than 10 Leads, where in the 2023 ASM presentation it was only greater than 12 Prospects and 5 Leads, so it about DOUBLED since the 2023 ASM!!!! Lebby said the OFC demos generated such overwhelming interest from the Tier 1's that he was forced to pick and choose which to work with because of LWLG's limited resources, during the 2024 ASM lab tours in May 2024 it was learned the number of NDA's was currently about 40 which is truly amazing, so now let's take a look at the potential Customers/Partners with known links to LWLG

Ok, lets start with Lebby's own words at who he expected the Customers to be in this TWST interview question,

TWST: Do you see your ideal customers like Cisco or whoever makes these particular modulation devices? Are they the ones who are going to buy? Dr. Lebby: Yes, they will — a lot of these larger companies. The Ciscos of this world as well as the Intels and the Cienas, these types of players, Googles and others.

AMF Foundry - First ANNOUNCED Foundry producing LWLG's technology on LARGE 200mm wafers capable of Millions of units annually, keep in mind it was AMF who wanted to go public with this relationship, do you really think that they would want to make it public if the PDK's were not 100% rock n' roll ready? NO, of course not!!

Our polymers are EASILY FABRICATED in silicon fabs 🡪 ideal for heterogenous integration!! (Slide 19)

ECOC 9/23/24 Lebby "Commercial silicon foundry 200mm wafers where EO polymers HAVE BEEN easily integrated using standard PDKs."

Global Foundries - Anthony Yu when asked about New Materials instantly first words out of his mouth were "Optical Polymers" which was a reference to LWLG, he then went on to badmouth TFLN and BTO as having Safety Concerns within the Foundry Operations, and also NOT being EASILY INTEGRATED like LWLG Polymers

Also, let's look at the FAQ's on the LWLG website here,

Companies like Arista Networks and Ciena make networking equipment with 400G ports that can take optical pluggable transceivers. These transceivers contain the sort of optics that Lightwave Logic makes. So these companies would be customers, or customer’s customers (if they buy their optics from a transceiver integrator like Lumentum or Finisar). Arista makes Ethernet switches which have 400G ports on the front panel.
https://www.lightwavelogic.com/resource-center/technical-faq/

and another thing Investors also know LWLG has been involved in Multi-Level Cross Functional projects with Tier 1's here with these Tier 1's,

https://investorshub.advfn.com/boards/read_msg.aspx?message_id=174656086&txt2find=cross%20functional

These are off the top of my head, I likely missed some others on this listing so it can be updated over time, but bottom line LWLG is deeply imbedded in the entire Industry food chain, and while still in stealth mode, all signs point to a grand emergence in 2024 with Tier 1 deal(s) right on schedule with Lebby's long-standing Timeline!!

Lebby is still on track with his long-standing Timeline of Customer Acceptance and Ramp in 2024 (see Slide 38 from 2022 ASM) and has not backed down on his SAM/SOM guidance, Shorts are the LYING SCAMMERS period!!

I only disagree with one thing in the summary. Chance of paradigm shift by lightwave logic honestly is like 98%… they HAVE the ability to save data centers millions, each one, each year in cooling costs… they have everything patented, they have done all reliability testing. No technology can advance with anywhere close to the ability that this company has. No one.

It’s about when, not if at this point. That’s what the last 7-8 years with Dr. Lebby have all been about.

The stone has begun to roll. Someone (Tier 1) WILL blink soon and make the move. Move or get run over and left out. That’s where we are at now…

But I like the summary aside from that. I just see as an 18 year shareholder the present reality differently.

Thanks for your contribution …

As info the device tested in the article contains Lightwaves perkinamine inside. Claudia the CEO of Polariton was seated 2 rows behind me at the shareholders meeting and was seen in the lab as well.

X. The oxygen thing (non-hermetically packaged modulators) referred to in the stability testing is a BIG deal (actually huge). It was the Achilles heal of prior version of polymers. Check that box, we certainly are checking a lot of boxes lately.

"This award serves as a highlight amidst our ongoing engagement with a wide spectrum of companies discussing device designs to materials supply and licensing agreements for our EO polymer materials with OEMs and tier-1 multinational corporations. We are confident in the implicit competitive advantage of our solution to support datacenters around the world which are responding to the burgeoning demand for higher speed data transmission from artificial intelligence (AI), machine learning, and other cloud-based services."

Dang Baby If sure there are any that remember when EO Polymers were a dream, Hybrid Integration in a Foundry was a total Pipe Dream, and we could not even spell PIC. This is recognition by the industry that were right. I cannot wait for the total buy in by the industry and every Tom, Dick and Harry to say the words Lightwave Logic.

X Patents in place, the price is right, I think I'll pick up a small bushel basket full. No debt and cash for a year.

The investors that have stood behind them, supported, encouraged and held strong should realize that this is a recognition that we were right all along, something that most people do not have the courage to do. I (X) would like to thank those investors as well.

The shorts will not go down easy though, so I'm sure there will be more games, those shares at a reduced price are a gift, the price you see is artificially the current price is for manipulation purposes only.

It is real and it is happening. F'ing PIC Hybrid Integration Platfriggingform Award, say that 3 times

Nvidia and Lightwave Logic have not officially announced a collaboration as of now, but there is potential for a partnership given the technological overlap in high-speed data transmission. Lightwave Logic's work on electro-optic (EO) polymers is focused on enabling extremely high data rates (like 1.6Tb/s and 3.2Tb/s) with lower power consumption, which aligns with Nvidia's interest in pushing AI workloads and high-performance computing that require faster and more efficient data transfer.

For example, Lightwave Logic's recent advancements in 400Gbps and 1.6Tb coherent optics could be highly attractive for Nvidia's AI and data center needs. Nvidia is working on solutions to increase data transfer speeds for their AI networks, where coherent optics are expected to play a key role?(

Given these shared objectives, it wouldn’t be surprising if Nvidia and Lightwave Logic explore a collaboration, especially with the growing demand for ultra-fast and energy-efficient data transmission solutions in AI-driven infrastructures. However, there are no confirmed reports of this partnership yet.

Based on the available information and the technological synergy between Nvidia and Lightwave Logic, I would estimate the likelihood of a collaboration at around 60-70%.

Here are some factors supporting this estimate:

Technological needs: Nvidia heavily relies on fast data transmission for its AI workloads and data centers, while Lightwave Logic’s EO polymer technology is designed to enhance data speeds and efficiency.
Strategic fit: Lightwave Logic's innovations in 1.6Tb/s and 3.2Tb/s optical technologies could significantly boost Nvidia’s data center performance, which Nvidia is looking to improve to accelerate its AI networks?(
Market trends: The growing demand for high-speed connectivity in AI and machine learning infrastructures provides strong motivation for both companies to consider a partnership.

Although no formal announcement has been made, the overlapping goals and technological developments make a collaboration highly plausible.

Polariton PR...https://www.ecocexhibition.com/exhibitor-news/reliability-data/
Reliability Data
Polariton Technologies announces today a groundbreaking generation of plasmonic electro-optic non-hermetically packaged modulators for applications at temperatures up to 85 °C. Such devices will be essential supporting future data center connectivity with 1.6T and 3.2T optical transceivers. This corresponds to 400 Gbit/s intensity modulation and direct detection (IM/DD) per single lane and to coherent dual-polarization 1.6 Tbit/s modulation per wavelength for inter-data center communication.

The announcement is made in conjunction with an accepted paper at the European Conference for Optical Communication (ECOC) 2024 and a talk given by Wolfgang Heni, co-CTO of Polariton, in Frankfurt this week; “We have been testing dozens of devices in continuous operation and long-term storage at various temperatures. It turns out that the prevention of oxygen diffusing into the plasmonic device also protects it from other agents”.

The paper published at ECOC displays long-term measurement for more than 4000 hours continuous operation in air with less than 10% in Vp variation. An increase of Vp is usually associated with the degradation of the electro-optic material, the stability of the other key performance indicators is the result of an effective encapsulation from the environment and stressors like oxygen, water, and heat.

Further highlights of the paper include a predictable insertion loss of the plasmonic slot of 0.4 dB/µm and grating couplers that attenuate light by less than 2 dB. On top of optical transceivers, the new generation of modulators targets microwave photonics and microwave antennas up to 300 GHz.

I think Polariton’s announcement is huge. Yet it simply applies pressure. Fear/Greed are the constants here. How fast will someone make a move to commit to public partnership and get first mover rights and privilege. (I am only talking about Tier 1 here). Sunday’s announcement, let’s everyone know that it is happening … And it’s created real ability to leapfrog technology completely that is today’s, with headroom for tomorrow and beyond. So which Tier 1 commits and how fast?

That’s happening in the background now… the public side of the revealing can’t be much longer…

Excellent point and let us not forget that over the past few years of being in stealth mode Lightwave has covered this space with patents on materials, patents on manufacturing, patents on applying material, patents on directing the light through devices, patents on protecting devices with ALD, patents on  photonic integrated circuits (PIC), patents on integrating polymers with semiconductors and on and on. Let's not forget the driverless patent.

These patents now provide the freedom to manufacture using lightwaves electro-optic (EO) polymer materials systems and its optical device technology. And the best part is some block others from creating a competing technology that crosses one of these road blocks protected by a patent.

It is my opinion that they are no doubt working with NVDA but this is business, so NVDA will take advantage of this technology first, later it will become obvious how they are doing it, then others will follow. In order to block others, someone will buy Lightwave Logic out. That is the logical conclusion.

Currently, the price is where is where it is because about 20% (18.7) of the shares available have been borrowed and sold short. That is basically 1 in 5. To that end, I've been pushing for a licensing deal that includes a dividend in a pvt company. Understand that shares in private companies are not readily available on the street. The 20% of shares shorted would need to convince shareholders to sell them shares with the attached dividend before it is distributed. There are multiple verticals where this could be applied in a cookie cutter fashion. To date, Lebby wants not to do exclusive deals, but I think that could change.

There is simply too much money, we all have our price, most likely we will be taken over.

Xster xster read all about it. I wonder who is working the convention.

This award is an industry recognition award for hybrid integration. I think that’s important to realize.
Secondly it is an award for a platform which is more than material, component or system.
A "platform" in the semiconductor and photonics industry refers to a shared foundation that enables the development and deployment of various products and technologies. It can hold many different products, components and technologies. Lightwaves PIC platform ( 200/400 G/ lane) enables companies to stay autonomous, to differentiate their products and to exploit platform efficiencies. Best of two worlds,

ECOC - World class performance for 200Gbps PAM4 and 400Gbps PAM4 lanes from electro-optic polymer modulators

Michael Lebby, Lightwave Logic Inc

Electro-optic (EO) polymer modulators are a hot topic in the industry today as the industry strives to increase modulation speed while reducing optical network equipment power consumption, driven by G-AI needs to upgrade hypescaler datacenters. Polymer modulators are now showing world class performance for 200Gbps PAM4 lanes, with initial results at 400Gbps PAM4 lanes and headroom for 800Gbps lanes as polymers have significant bandwidth capability. This enables not only 4 channel by 200Gbps PAM4 lanes for 800Gbps pluggable transceivers today, but also 4 channel by 400Gbps PAM4 lanes for 1.6Tbps pluggable transceivers soon. Further, polymer modulators have the capability for 4 channel by 800Gbps PAM4 lanes for 3.2Tbps pluggable transceivers using 800G lanes as part of a technology roadmap plan. Recent world class EO polymers results include:

1) Clean PAM4 eye diagrams at 200Gbps with less than 1V drive voltage.

2) Super high bandwidth polymer based plasmonic devices that exceed 250GHz (EO S21 3dB) for 400Gbps PAM4 lane applications for4 channel by 400Gbps PAM4 (1.6Tbps) pluggable transceivers.

3) Very low voltage drive of ~0.5V (which allows direct drive from ICs, DSPs etc., and potentially can eliminate driver chips)

4) Very small footprint and size, which allows simple integration with PICs to turbo-boost silicon photonics. Tiny optical engines are ideal for pluggable and onboard-optic transceiver form-factors.

5) Commercial silicon foundry 200mm wafers where EO polymers have been easily integrated using standard PDKs.

The talk will discuss the latest world class results with commercial grade electro-optic polymer materials that are being licensed for device applications for datacom at 1310 and 1550nm. These devices are fabricated onto 200mm silicon commercial foundry wafers and perform to 200G lane specifications at drive voltages less than 1V (which supports the drive to lower power consumption). Packaged polymer modulators will show the latest reliability and lifetime performance for datacenter applications. Reliability and stability results will be presented to show the robustness of the technology platform with respect to thermal stability and photostability in testing on materials, packages, and boards. Plans for CSP (Chip Scale Packaging) for polymer PICs will be shown based on dielectric sealants such as Atomic Layer Deposition at temperatures suitable for organic, polymer material. The talk will also show how the performance of EO polymer modulators can extend to not only 800Gbps and 1.6Tbps transceivers, but also 3.2Tbps, 6.4Tbps and beyond using the natural bandwidth characteristics of Perkinamine® chromophore organic material family. With EO bandwidths that exceed 250GHz that have been demonstrated with Polariton, single line or lane data rates that exceed 800Gbps PAM4 possible which opens a path for multi-Tbps data rate pluggable transceiver designs that include 3.2Tbps and 6.4Tbps for an exciting technology roadmap using polymer materials.

The announcement from AMF seemed very similar actually. Both announced offerings by their co.pany powered by their partners LWLG polymer inside. Also both letting people know that if they were interested that the company was ready to start taking orders.

Yeah, everybody's promoting their own stuff. That's what I found intriguing about Polariton promotion. Why would they be shouting out LWLG polymer inside? Even if you push Polariton aside as inconsequential in market size, the shout out for LWLG is more direct than anything we've heard in the past.

Yes, I caught that too. It was interesting. I only reported what I was told.

Jose’s comment challenges that perspective.

Since I believe both people, I conclude that they travel in different circles.

We have seen more evidence in recent months that lightwave is being taken more seriously. We’ve also seen evidence that the industry’s future needs are being addressed and met so far by other players through innovations. And apparently without need of what lightwave is offering.

Whether that continues to be the case or not or for how long is anyone’s guess.

So Dr. Lebby started speaking first this morning and is possibly still chatting up Lightwave at this hour with Jose Pozo and David Welch (one I'm also relatively familiar with from another stock I'm invested in):

https://www.ecocexhibition.com/visit/market-focus/market-focus-timetable-2024/

It doesn't look like Dr. Lebby is speaking tomorrow or Wednesday but I sure hope he's sticking around to network...

https://www.ecocexhibition.com/visit/market-focus/market-focus-timetable-2024/

Lightwave Logic has also been selected as a finalist for the Most Innovative Product: Most Innovative Hybrid PIC/Optical Integration Platform with its entry entitled: High-performance polymer modulators for 200Gbps PAM4 lanes under 1V drive voltage, and 400Gbps PAM4 lanes. The winners will be announced live at ECOC Exhibition in the Product Focus theatre on Tuesday, September 24, 2024 from 11:45 a.m. Central European time.

Wonder if any of this is being recorded/taped, hmm

I hope Dr. Lebby will PR something about it...

Has anyone heard anything or maybe there who can update here?

Great endorsement received today from Michael Lebby during the market focus talk at hashtag#ecoc2024. While the industry is ramping 200G per lane, the enabling technology for 400G per lane is well on its way. Electro-optic polymer modulators display exceptional eye diagrams with minimal use of signal processing, promising for data transmission with reduced power dissipation. This is possible thanks to the flat electro-optic bandwidth of such photonic integrated circuits. Reach out with hashtag #Polariton at booth F47.

Polariton News Release 400gb MRR's Using LWLG Materials!!
September 22, 2024
Zurich, Switzerland

Polariton Technologies announces having achieved experimental IM/DD data rate in excess of 400 GBit/s per lane using commercial off-the-shelf ring resonator modulators in a collaboration with its research partner ETH Zurich and material supplier Lightwave Logic Inc. These are to be used in products such as 1.6T and 3.2T transceivers. This significant milestone sets a paradigm shift for the optical communication industry and paves the way for next-generation connectivity.

“ETH Zurich already demonstrated 400G per lane at OFC this year employing Mach-Zehnder modulators (MZM). This novel achievement is performed using ring resonator modulators (RRM), which are the better fit for the application because of considerably lower losses. The device loss is in the range of best-in-class modulators at 1.2 dB. Polariton is well-positioned for the 1.6T and 3.2T transceiver market with the 400G per lane products” explained Claudia Hoessbacher, CEO of Polariton.

The measurements were performed earlier in 2024 using devices optimized for 1550 nm operation. They demonstrate top performance with extinction ratio of 11.2 dB and a flat electro-optic response up to 110 GHz. “The reason we stopped measuring at 110 GHz is because we did not have calibrated instruments above 110 GHz at that time. In the meantime, we started characterizing the devices at 145 GHz and we developed devices optimized for 1310 nm wavelength operation”, commented Benedikt Bauerle, co-CTO of Polariton.

In an industry that has been forced to go parallel because of technological limitations, Polariton provides immediate relief for the next-generation products. Parallel lines fall short with reliability problems, are costly and consume more power than compact approaches that support higher transmission per lane.

Starting in October 2024, Polariton will offer early access to customers with sample quantities of 1310 and 1550 devices. This week, the company is also highlighting the advancement of its commercial devices at the European Conference for Optical Communication (ECOC) in Frankfurt.
