Augusta Gold (QB) Description
| Augusta Gold Corp. is focused on the exploration and development of its Bullfrog gold Project located 120 miles NW of Las Vegas, Nevada and where Barrick Bullfrog Inc. (Barrick) produced 2.3 million ounces of gold averaging 2.8 g/tonne from 1989-1999. The Company also acquired Barrick's comprehensive exploration, mining and processing data base, including information on 155 miles of drilling in 1,262 holes. For reference, Barrick ceased operations in 1999 when the price of gold was less than $300/oz. Tetra Tech Inc., an independent engineering firm, recently estimated mineralization compliant with Canadian NI 43-101 standards at 525,000 ounces of gold averaging 1.02 g/t remaining on BFGC's lands in the Bullfrog and M-S pit areas. On September 7, 2020 BFGC entered into a binding term sheet to acquire rights to 1500 acres additional acres in the Bullfrog Project from Barrick Bullfrog Inc and a CDN $22 million financing to be completed by Augusta Investments - See press release dated September 8, 2020 for more details. |
